(The Romsey Advertiser) – HEALTHY SMILES AT ROMSEY DENTAL CARE
National Smile Month starts on May 20th and the team at Romsey Dental Care , led by Dental Hygienist Stephanie Carter, are promoting the three key messages of the campaign: brush twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, cut down on sugary snacks and drinks, visit your Dentist and Hygienist regularly.
Stephanie said there have been large improvements in oral health in this country over the past 30 years, but there is still work to be done. We believe that oral health education is vital to keeping not just our smiles healthy but our whole bodies. Research now shows that there are strong links between the health of our mouths and our general health and well being.
To promote the month-long event there is a poster competition for children and a prize draw for a Professional Care 1000 Braun Oral-B electric toothbrush for any adult who attends the practice between May 20th and June 20th. If you want to find out more about Oral Health or how to enter the draw or competition just pop along to Romsey Dental Care at 1 Station Road or call 01794 522222.
