I qualified from Edinburgh University in 1987 and gained the Diploma in General Dental Practice, in 1993.My postgraduate training included a year at the prestigious Eastman Institute in London and I was a founder member of the Eastman Academy. 1994 saw me complete my training in dermal fillers and, later on, muscle relaxing injections, so I can also offer patients advanced facial treatments like lipline enhancement and frown line removal to complement the cosmetic dentistry I love.

I started Romsey Dental Care from scratch in 1996 and still enjoy every day, I love the variety and challenge. Most of all, I love helping people either smile more, or simply be pain free!

I feel very privileged to work in such a lovely environment in the wonderful town of Romsey, Hampshire, with such a fantastic team of professionals who share my vision to provide the best possible care with amazing customer service.

I first trained as a dental hygienist in 2005 whilst serving in the British Army. I worked for Romsey Dental Care as a locum hygienist and always felt it was a great place to work with a wonderful ethos.I’ve since retrained as a dentist and have never looked back. I am passionate about improving my knowledge and so I continually progress my postgraduate training, attending events primarily focused on cosmetic dentistry.  I have also gained an extra qualification to become a member of the faculty of dental surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

My passion is for minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, especially the use of white filling material to improve the smile.  I maintain a keen interest in the management of gum disease and am an active member of the British Society of Periodontology.

Since moving to Romsey I have embraced a number of big changes in my life, making me a better person and a better dentist. I love working with such a supportive and talented team of professionals.   The most satisfying part of my job is showing a patient their new smile and seeing them leave with new-found confidence.  I continually update my skills and knowledge, to be able to provide our patients with the high standard of dentistry they deserve.

I qualified at Kings College, London, and during my time there I gained a Professionalism award. I’ve since kept abreast of all the latest developments and this extends to teaching dental nurses too!I’m very enthusiastic about my role in helping patients improve and maintain their oral health, especially as we now know how important this is for general health and wellbeing as well (of course) for people keeping their natural teeth.

The favourite part of my day is seeing a patient who has taken on board all our advice and has improved their oral health as a result. I live in Southampton and I joined the practice in 2011 and it’s been great to get to know the patients, as well as work as part of such a supportive and happy team.

I joined Romsey Dental Care in 2018 having qualified from Portsmouth University, and since then have continued to expand my knowledge though continued development. I am very excited to work with such a fantastic team to help improve and promote the oral hygiene and longevity of the teeth and gums of everyone we see.

I particularly enjoy gaining the trust of anxious patients and seeing them gain in confidence each visit.

Outside of dentistry my main hobby is Scuba Diving which I do regularly along the south coast of England as well as abroad.

I joined Romsey Dental Care in 2002, and it’s a pleasure to work with such a friendly, supportive and dedicated team. Sam and Kevin are passionate about making each and every patient feel satisfied with their dental care, and this passion and dedication carries through to the whole team. I always aim to go that extra mile for our patients, and a happy patient who feels special means that I get the reward of feeling special too!

I feel very honoured to have the opportunity to get to know our patients, and feel part what is happening in their lives. It’s a challenging, interesting role and I learn something new every day!

I started at the practice in September 2014 having moved to Hampshire with my husband who is from Romsey – we met in my native Uganda. I’ve always enjoyed working with people (I used to work in tourism) and I love my role caring for people here. Most of all I feel privileged to work with this friendly team! Since joining the practice I’ve had my first baby so you’ll only see me part time!

I’ve known Sam for many years and been working as a dental nurse for even longer! I came to work at Romsey Dental Care as a temporary nurse initially in 2006. I enjoyed it so much that when I was offered a permanent position I jumped at the opportunity. It is a great place to work with friendly colleagues and patients, and I enjoy the new challenges with each day!

I arrived here in the UK from Romania in 2009 and after working in care homes I chose a career in dental nursing. Having a young family makes studying hard at times but I really enjoy my job and with the support of the team I am now a qualified nurse, and training to take Xrays too. I chose Romsey Dental Care because of the focus on customer service and high standards especially cross infection control – I would be a patient here!. I feel appreciated and fulfilled and that I am developing as part of a happy team.

I moved back to my home town of Totton, near Southampton in 2012 and jumped at the chance to take a position here for maternity cover then, and have since had maternity leave myself! I really enjoy working in Romsey, the patients are really nice and there’s a great team here. Also the practice invested in my Radiography and then impression training so I am now qualified to take Xrays for patients or impressions for mouthguards etc.

I joined Romsey Dental Care in 2017 having previously worked in the care industry. I love my job and the team here; I am now a fully qualified nurse and am training to take dental X-rays too. Every day is different and I am always learning. In my free time I love cycling and walking in the New Forest.
