Pre-booking routine examinations helps us to ensure patients are seen at the right time, so that we can carefully monitor their dental health and provide the best advice to prevent problems developing in the first place. Our hygiene service is the cornerstone of our preventive programme.

Our Hygienists are Jackie Grzeskowiak EDH and Amanda Byrne EDH. They have great enthusiasm for dental hygiene and the considerable benefits this provides for patients. Gum disease causes bad breath, bleeding and in the long term - tooth loss, which is why gum treatment is a very high priority at Romsey Dental Care.

Appointments are by special referral from dentists Samantha Price and Jim Overton - a service that gives excellent value for money with the hygienist's lower hourly rate.

Good oral hygiene is fundamental to dental health and essential for fresh breath. Here are some examples of the services offered by our hygienist:

• Cleaning and polishing of fillings - makes them look and feel good and helps you to keep your teeth clean and healthy.
• Fissure sealants - protective layer of resin bonded to the biting surfaces of back teeth to prevent decay.
