Samantha Price BDS (Edin) MFGDP (UK), dentist and practice owner

Samantha qualified from Edinburgh University in 1987 and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. She was one of the first dentists to be awarded the Diploma in General Dental Practice, in 1993, and her postgraduate training includes a year's course at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital. Samantha is also a founder member of the Eastman Academy.

Samantha particularly enjoys cosmetic treatments including Smile Design and Tooth Whitening. She also provides advanced facial cosmetic treatments like muscle relaxing injections and appeared on Meridian TV performing Collagen cosmetic treatment.

Outside of dentistry and running the business Sam enjoys outdoor activities like cycling, gardening and wildlife - especially birds.

Slawomir Stobiecki Lek.Stom (Poland), dentist

Dentist Slawomir Stobiecki (Slavek in the shortened form) is the son of two doctors with PhDs.  He qualified in his native Poland in 2000 and after a period of teaching dental students at the Silesian Medical Academy he ran his own practice before moving to the UK in 2005.  Since then he has made this area his home and owns a house in Lee-on-Solent, not far from his sister’s family. 

Slavek is committed to continual professional development, and through his extensive postgraduate training he has developed a special interest in all forms of cosmetic dentistry, especially tooth bleaching and advanced restorative work like veneers, crowns and bridges and implants.

Stephanie Carter RDHT, dental therapist

Stephanie lives locally and was looking for a role in a forward thinking, innovative practice. With her therapist skills gained during her three year diploma at Kings College, London, she can offer not just hygienist services to our patients but everything from tooth bleaching to restorations. Stephanie was awarded a professionalism award during her training, and brings great enthusiasm for her role to help our patients achieve and maintain their oral health.

Angela Ward, practice manager

My role is busy and varied with the overall aim of ensuring that the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. I have an administration and marketing background so a dental practice felt a very different environment at the start but the principles of customer care are the same whatever the business. I enjoy the variety and challenge that goes with my role as well as working with a team that really goes that extra mile to succeed.

Since 2002 I have worked on the front desk, meeting and greeting patients and ensuring that everything runs efficiently. I enjoy my job because it is varied, fun and often challenging; every day is different. We have a friendly, caring team and lovely patients too – this is a great place to work!

Having worked as a dental nurse at another practice for 11 years, I was looking for a role where I could develop as a nurse and learn new skills.  At Romsey Dental Care, I feel I can do this as they have a strong ethos of personal development – I am already training to take X-rays!  The team are very supportive here and I definitely made the right choice as I am now able to get more involved in patient care.

I started at the practice as a work experience girl aged 15, then joined after college. After 8 years with the team I moved from Romsey for a couple of years and did some travelling before returning and working in a practice in Southampton. But I remained a patient here and when a nursing position became available in 2010, I was keen to come back because I enjoy working in a pro-active, forward thinking environment with a great team where the focus is on excellent patient care. I am now qualified to take x-rays too which I enjoy.
